About Hayley

Hi! I’m Hayley, a therapist serving California and Michigan clients via tele-health. In our work together, I will help you overcome suffering, create balance, and find a deeper sense of meaning in your life. I offer a blend of practical, experiential, and evidence-based approaches.

I specialize in CPTSD/complex trauma (attachment trauma) and codependency. I also support people experiencing anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, life transitions, relationship issues and parenting challenges.

My work is enhanced and influenced by own my pursuit of self-awareness and personal growth. I have been called to pursue a path of healing, and through this journey, I have navigated challenges over time which have enabled me to connect with my truth and heal old patterns of limiting beliefs.

Clients describe me as warm, compassionate, direct yet gentle, and non-judgmental. I’m not a therapist who is super quiet, nor am I a therapist who just offers constant validation and positive regard. I want you to feel seen and heard, but I will also tell it like I see it and encourage you to step out of your comfort zone if that is what you need.

Safety and consistency are essential in any relationship. This gives us a sense of security and predictability so that we can drop into the deeper stuff together. I focus on developing trust so we can enter into a co-exploration of what you most want and need.

I hold an MA in Counseling Psychology from the Wright Institute. I’m a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (CA #1132595 & MI #4101007370) in private practice since 2017. I have also worked in school and healthcare settings for teens and young adults. I use a trauma-informed approach and am trained in EMDR, a technique that can offer many profound results.
